MICT visited Buner, KPK on 25 September, 2025

Buner district in KPK has been heavily destroyed by torrential rains and unprecedented floods during the monsoon phase in 2025. MICT chose the village of Bunshoi in Buner district for the distribution of dry food packs amongst flood affected families. A list of 109 families was prepared by volunteers in advance. Following its standard practice, MICT purchased the food packs from a local vendor whose business has been very negatively affected by rain water. He showed us the damages in his store leaving a large stock completely destroyed.   In the spirit of partnership the vendor provided free transportation of food packs from Buner town to Bunshoi.
