We focus on long-term impact — providing people with the tools they need to grow and thrive

MICT’s Education Program primarily aims to provide financial support to cover the costs of well-performing students, regardless of age, gender, or location. During the period 2023-2025, MICT spent PKR 4,377,264 to support the education of 42 students.

MICT seeks to support the health needs of poor and vulnerable patients. During the period 2023-2025, MICT spent PKR 2,995,696 on nine patients. Additionally MICT provided essential medicines and donations- in-kind to communities in Parachinar.

By installing filtration systems, handpumps and drains, MICT provides easy access to water and sanitation at various levels of communities. During 2023-25, MICT spent PKR 15,966,200 on the installation of 387 handpumps in different water-scarce areas of Muzaffargarh, Jhang, Taunsa Sharif, Layyah, Kot Addu, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Rajan Pur, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Chiniot, Charsadda and Naushera.Â

During 2023-2025, 1853 food packs were given to approximately 9300 individuals in Chakwal, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Khair Pur Mirs, Rawalpindi and Islamabad (ICT) before the start of Ramzan. The total cost incurred was PKR 8,910,106

MICT supports income-generating activities at the grassroots level for both men and women. As a principle, goods rather than cash are provided. During the period year 2023-25, MICT spent PKR 2,313,800/- under this program to provide livelihood and capacity building opportunities to 117 beneficiaries.

During 2023-2025, heavy rainfall across Pakistan led to the loss of life, livestock, institutions and properties. MICT spent PKR 1,489,610 on the provision of warm clothes, winter supplies and mosquito nets for 1,490 individuals in Hub (Lasbela) and Jamshoro. Additionally, a school was reconstructed for 450 children in Badin. Food packs worth PKR 8,983,790 were distributed among 1,330 flood-affected families in Swat.

The MICT team gets keenly involved in tree plantation, especially during the monsoon period. Tree plantation was carried out in schools, health centres, graveyards etc. In most cases, plants were obtained on a complimentary basis.
