Fire-Fighting Training

The Madinatul Ilm Charitable Trust (MICT) organized a training in Fire Fighting for residents of Afshan Manzil, staff of MICT and security guards assigned by the security company. This was held on March 11, 2026 in the ground floor of Afshan Manzil. The training was conducted by Mr. Moazzam Hashmi (CEO) of ———-(ZIK) which has installed the fire extinguishing system in Afshan Manzil.  Around 10 persons participated.  Ms. Zeba Bukhari (Chairperson MICT) opened the session by welcoming everyone. She underlined the need to exercise preventive measures related to fire incidents so that an emergency situation can be avoided. She also mentioned the need to study rental agreements carefully prior to signing off as roles and responsibilities of all parties are clearly defined here.  Mr. Moazzam Hashmi made an informative presentation on steps to be followed in case of a fire. He said that it is easy to capture the spread of fire if correct action is taken at an early stage. He described the use of cylinders through a practical demonstration. Questions and answers took place during the presentation.
