MICT visited Seet Pur, Tehsil Ali Pur District Muzaffargarh – Relief supplies distributed among flood victims

On September 23, 2025 MICT carried out a relief activity in Seet Pur, Tehsil Ali Pur where 200 flood affected families received dry food packs. To prevent looting incidents and possible chaos, part of the distribution was conducted late at night after 11:00 pm, while some families were covered in the early hours of the morning. 

Dry food packs were also distributed in several riverbank villages including Basti Barbra, Basti Kakus, Bati Chanha, Shekhani, Ghareeb Shah and Ghareebabad. To minimize carriage costs and avoid the risk of looting, a local vendor from Seet Pur, was selected instead of sourcing supplies from Alipur. 

It is worth noting that Seet Pur was almost 98% submerged in the devastating floods, leaving families in desperate need of immediate assistance.
